1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, accepting an invite, signing in, or otherwise using Adhhyan ("Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of a school or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The service
Adhhyan provides tools for school administration, teaching, parent engagement, attendance, fees, assessments, communication, and related academic operations. Features may vary by plan, school configuration, and role permissions.
3. Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate registration and profile information.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
- School administrators control which staff, teachers, parents, and students can access the school's Adhhyan workspace.
- We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account is compromised, misused, or violates these terms.
4. School responsibilities
Schools using Adhhyan are responsible for:
- Ensuring they have the right to collect and process student, parent, and staff information entered into the Service
- Configuring roles and permissions appropriately within their school
- Keeping uploaded content lawful, accurate, and appropriate for an educational environment
- Obtaining any parental or legal consents required under applicable law
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Upload malware, scrape the Service without permission, or interfere with platform integrity
- Share confidential student or school information with unauthorized parties
- Misrepresent your identity, role, or affiliation with a school
6. Subscriptions, fees, and trials
Paid plans, free tiers, and trials are subject to the pricing and plan details presented at the time of signup or renewal. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started. Failure to pay may result in suspension or limitation of Service features.
7. Intellectual property
Adhhyan, including its software, branding, and documentation, is owned by Softaim Technologies or its licensors. Schools retain ownership of the content and records they upload. By using the Service, schools grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve the Service.
8. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, email, messaging, storage, analytics, or payments. Your use of those integrations may also be subject to the third party's terms.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Softaim Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by the school for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
Schools may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if required by law, or if a subscription ends. Upon termination, access to the school workspace may be disabled, subject to any applicable data retention or export arrangements.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. The "Last updated" date will be revised when changes are published. Continued use of Adhhyan after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
